Overview ​

Arc™ shortcuts in Chrome ("we", "our", or "the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect ​

Automatically Collected Information ​

  • User Identifier (UUID): A randomly generated unique identifier is created on first use and stored locally in your browser
  • Usage Statistics: Daily counts of keyboard shortcuts used (tab switching, URL copying, AI menu)
  • Installation Date: Timestamp of when you first started using the Extension

Information You Provide ​

  • Payment Information: When upgrading to Pro, payment details are processed by Stripe (our payment processor). We do not store credit card information.

How We Store Information ​

  • Local Storage: UUID, usage statistics, and user preferences are stored locally in Chrome's sync storage
  • Remote Database: Pro subscription status (UUID, subscription date, active status) is stored in our Supabase database

How We Use Information ​

We use collected information to:

  • Identify you as a unique user
  • Track daily usage against free tier limits
  • Verify Pro subscription status
  • Provide keyboard shortcut functionality

Data Sharing ​

  • Stripe: Payment processing only. See Stripe's Privacy Policy
  • Supabase: Database hosting for subscription management only

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Browser Permissions ​

The Extension requests the following permissions:

  • tabs: Switch between tabs and copy URLs
  • storage: Save user preferences and usage data locally
  • scripting: Execute keyboard shortcuts
  • clipboardWrite: Copy URLs to clipboard
  • host_permissions: Communicate with our payment API

Data Retention ​

  • Local usage data resets daily
  • User UUID persists until you uninstall the Extension
  • Pro subscription records are retained while your subscription is active

Your Rights ​

You can:

  • Clear your usage data by uninstalling the Extension
  • Request account deletion by contacting xiikii@outlook.com

Changes to This Policy ​

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above.
